Heal Your Past

How to deal with unresolved thoughts, feelings and emotions

A workshop led by Kamontip Evans

Saturday 28th April 2018

10am - 4pm

London Therapy Foundation

40 Lambert Avenue, Richmond TW9 4QR

We all carry around unresolved issues in our heads. They numb our emotions and deprive us of joy. This workshop aims to help you deal with these unresolved thoughts, feelings and emotions by looking at their causes.  They lie in the mind. If we are unaware of what the mind is doing when such unresolved issues arise, the mind gets lost in them and becomes them. To work on such issues without an understanding of the nature of the mind is like treating the symptoms but not the cause. The problems will soon resurface. It is only in the understanding of the causes and by working on them that we can make peace with the past.

This workshop also includes aspects of the psychobiology of stress and various postures of mindfulness meditation: standing, walking, sitting, eating and possibly lying down.

Open to all - please wear comfortable clothing

Kamontip, a former university lecturer and radio programme producer in Thailand, is a teacher of mindfulness mediation and a consultant in stress management. She has studied mindfulness meditation over three decades under several masters in Thailand, India and the UK. She has a Master’s degree in Education and another in the Psychobiology of Stress, where she specialised in whether mindfulness can enhance verbal memory and sleep patterns in menopausal women.

Kamontip blogs on mindfulness for the Huffington Post and her recently published book, Taming the Truant Mind, is now available on Amazon and Kindle.
