Here's a summary of what a membership at LTF includes and involves:

LTF offers consulting rooms to our members at what are surely some of the most affordable prices in the London area. The rooms available vary in size (single, double, big conference room) and are all in the same building. In the heart of the LTF centre there is an excellent waiting area and reception desk. Therapy rooms cost just £5.00 per hour to all members, and best of all you can book a single hour in a room; you do not need to take a 4 hour block.

Each member is asked to sign a contract which will cover the relationship and responsibilities between each member and The London Therapy Foundation.

As a growing organization LTF's target is to works closely with local GP surgeries, organisations and employers based mainly in South West London.

We offer a collective library to all members. The library is based on a sharing scheme between members. The library is managed by Debbie Courtney and all borrowers will need to join the library and deposit £30.00 to cover damage, loss and non-return issues. The deposit is fully refundable at the conclusion of your library membership.

We offer a professional indemnity insurance product to members at an excellent discount rate.

As you are aware we are all unique in this profession. We have years of experience in various therapeutic fields and are willing to share our knowledge with others. What LTF offers is regular training and workshops presented by our own members, or other professionals, who are able to expound on their knowledge and various interests. This enables each of us to keep up with our CPD (60 hours needed per year) and gain valuable certificated merits at the end of each course.

We encourage all our members to run group training sessions for their colleagues. This of course provides an excellent opportunity to earn good revenue from each course run. The marketing potential within LTF ensures that your courses can be well attended.

We will soon set up a CPD directory to list all the CPD courses that we can discover, being run in the UK. We hope this will enable every member to find the most appropriate CPD courses for their needs.

Our Member Supervisors offer one-to-one and group supervision, at cost, on a　regular or　an ‘as and when’ basis. We encourage formation of peer groups to support one another, where case loads can be discussed and learning takes place.

As a member you can add your name and profile to the list of LTF Supervisors.

There is the opportunity to gain supervisory experience with our trainee counsellors on placements. This is for those Therapists wanting to go into supervision as their professional route.

It will be our intention to publish a list of non member Supervisors who our members may wish to consult.

Becoming a professional member of The London Therapy Foundation will allow access to an individual profile listing within our website. You can update and edit your listing at any time. As a member of LTF you will have the opportunity to be advertised on the website and cross-link the advert to your own website.

It is often difficult to know where to start after you graduate. We offer help by sharing information and marketing tips, organizing training and, if required, providing face-to-face marketing sessions.

We direct you to our recommended professional accountant to help you prepare your annual accounts returns for the HMRC. This accountant is particularly specialist in working with Self employed Therapists.

In this section we provide "Good things" that might be of interest to you and your clients. E.g. a recommended book list, films of interest, sounds that may help in therapy, and prose, quotes and poetry.

You will have the opportunity to socialize and network whenever you attend our organized events and workshops. LTF stresses the importance of having fun to charge your batteries and let go of stress accumulated by the character of the work you do.

The large membership of practising members and their client bases provide an excellent representative sample for research projects.

Active participation in debates is welcomed and you have access to the online forums within the members' area, where you can contribute to the wide array of topics.
